Welcome to The W. W. Winter Heritage Trust, launched on Thursday 17 May 2018.
The Trust aims: to advance the education of the public in the history of photography, and in particular that relating to W. W. Winter Ltd., the city of Derby and the East Midlands, through the presentation of public meetings and lectures; and to manage, care for, make accessible and develop the collection of images in the W. W. Winter archive.
You can get in touch with the Trust by emailing friends@wwwinter.co.uk
Volunteer Opportunities
We have volunteer opportunities for those interested in photo history and heritage. These range from cleaning glass negatives and entering information about our archive images onto our database, to researching photographs and historical events for forthcoming exhibitions.
Due to limited space we are unable to take on large numbers of volunteers, however if your interests overlap with ours, we would welcome your support.
In the first instance please contact us by email on friends@wwwinter.co.uk marking your email for the the attention of the archivist. Should we not have any immediate opportunities please bear with us as we would be glad to hold your details for future projects.
